Consultation
We want to hear about you to understand how you want to live in and around your new kitchen.
Understanding your investment from the beginning helps to achieve the kitchen you’ll love to come home to for years to come.*
Design & Quote
We will present you with a photorealistic concept and quote. You can explore the various fittings, finishing options in our showroom so that your new kitchen works for you and how you want it to look and feel.
Approval & Sign-Off
Once the design and finer details are complete and you’re ready to hit the go button, we’ll get the paperwork signed off. Then we can plan the timelines from here and lock in a date your final site measure.
Craft & Install
When one of our production experts has completed the site measure at your home, the factory team completes the crafting of your joinery project. Then our professional installers fit your custom, made to measure cabinetry into your home.
Quality Assurance
Following installation, there may be other finishing touches to come such as benchtops and splashbacks.
Following final quality checks we will register your 10 Year transferrable Craftsmanship Guarantee.**

Tanicha Farrant
My mother was an interior designer, and I absorbed so much knowledge I became a designer by osmosis! After graduating from Massey with an Honours Degree, I jumped straight into designing kitchens for Mastercraft in Tauranga and haven’t looked back. Designing kitchens brings together my passion, education and natural skill, and now renovating my own home has given me valuable insights into the client experience. I create personalised designs that meet your vision and unique lifestyle needs, and the best part of my job is producing 3D videos of your project that really bring that vision to life.
Tyne Downie
A natural creative, I found my passion in the design industry. Whilst my early career was in interior design for home-renovations, I have since found my calling as a Design Consultant for Mastercraft Kitchens, Tauranga. This industry is really dynamic, and I love the constant evolution of trends and innovative solutions we can use to improve the aesthetics and functionality of a client’s kitchen. I work hard to build strong relationships with clients, and am focused on delivering beautiful, functional, and inspired spaces for them to enjoy for many years to come.
Kristina Zamarian
Originally from Russia, it was South America where my kitchen design career launched, starting as a designer in Brazil in 2008. I eventually ran my own business for 10 years, until I immigrated to New Zealand in 2018. Keen to pursue my passion, I joined Mastercraft Kitchens in Tauranga as Design Consultant. I love our team and the full involvement with the client through the whole process – from understanding the vision, to development of spatial design and aesthetics, and then seeing the final result. I love the creativity, and I’m always learning something new.
Jes Gordon
I have been designing kitchens since 2006. Initially in my hometown of Tauranga, I ventured off to work in Europe as a kitchen designer, working on high end and entry level German kitchens. Since returning to the Bay in 2009, I have been with Mastercraft Kitchens, taking a few years out to start my beautiful family. I was always going to return to the job I love, as I am a self-confessed “kitchen geek” and property fanatic (having built and renovated multiple times.) I bring a practical approach to design, and a knack for working within budget to make your dreams a reality.
