From your first conversation to the moment you cook in your new kitchen

Consultation
We want to hear about you to understand how you want to live in and around your new kitchen.
Understanding your investment from the beginning helps to achieve the kitchen you’ll love to come home to for years to come.*
Design & Quote
We will present you with a photorealistic concept and quote. You can explore the various fittings, finishing options in our showroom so that your new kitchen works for you and how you want it to look and feel.
Approval & Sign-Off
Once the design and finer details are complete and you’re ready to hit the go button, we’ll get the paperwork signed off. Then we can plan the timelines from here and lock in a date your final site measure.
Craft & Install
When one of our production experts has completed the site measure at your home, the factory team completes the crafting of your joinery project. Then our professional installers fit your custom, made to measure cabinetry into your home.
Quality Assurance
Following installation, there may be other finishing touches to come such as benchtops and splashbacks.
Following final quality checks we will register your 10 Year transferrable Craftsmanship Guarantee.**

Driven by a passion for all things design, I find inspiration in the details that bring creativity to life. From concept to execution, I thrive on exploring new ideas and turning visions into reality. Whether it's aesthetics, function, or form, design fuels my curiosity and motivates my work. Equally fulfilling is the opportunity to help others achieve their joinery dreams. I take pride in offering guidance, sharing knowledge, and supporting others on their creative journeys. For me, it's not just about the finished product—it's about empowering people to bring their own ideas to life through craftsmanship and thoughtful design.
Grace Dear
I’ve been in the joinery industry for 8 years, starting out in admin and production before moving into design with Mastercraft Kitchens in Christchurch. Earning my Diploma in Kitchen Design through the NKBA strengthened my passion for creating spaces that are both functional and beautiful. I love transforming clients ideas into personalised designs and seeing them come to life on site. Keeping up with new products and styles is always exciting - it means every project feels fresh, practical, and uniquely suited to each home.
Mike Mckenzie
My career in kitchens began as a young apprentice in production in 1995, developing through various roles and landing in design, where I excelled. Combining my creative mind with my practical experience enabled me to bring complex ideas into reality. With the introduction of digital design, and now 3D drawings, clients are able to fully visualize their complex designs to a standard that exceeds their expectations. With extensive experience in both the design and manufacturing sides I can not only design complex projects but also have the knowledge of how to construct it using innovative and practical formulas.
Emma Johnson
Design is a true passion of mine, and I've worked in the industry since 2008, specializing predominantly in kitchen design. I studied at the Design and Arts College graduating with a Diploma in Interior Design. Although kitchens are our main focus, I enjoy nothing better than being involved in the process when we are designing for other areas of the home. From kitchens to home offices and everything in between I love being part of my client’s journey and watching their dreams become a reality.

The business is proudly owned by Christchurch locals: Chris and Jane Moore, and Russell Lory. Chris and Russell each have over 40 years of experience in the Joinery Industry and Jane manages our Accounts and Human Resources.
