The brief for this stunning new-home kitchen was ‘Keep it simple with a classic black and white palette.’ Neil Hill from Mastercraft Kitchens Whangarei did just that by making a feature of Black American Oak cabinets, and surrounding them with a mixture of gloss and satin white floor cabinets and island. The powerful Black American Oak not only draws the eye, but also features throughout the house. The benchtops are pure white Caesarstone. This kitchen features a hide-away scullery set behind the double fridge-freezer wall. The stainless steel appliances, along with the beautiful polished concrete floors, provide a neutral colour to balance the black and white palette. A stylish bar is cleverly hidden by foldaway doors in the hallway adjacent to the kitchen, making entertaining fun and easy.
