This kitchen, by Kim Primrose from Mastercraft Kitchens Pukekohe, was designed with a busy household in mind. The cook wanted a kitchen that was separate from the main living area, and yet not isolated from the family. Special features of this kitchen include a second sink near the hobs which creates a ‘hot zone’, a large walk-in pantry, and a bar fridge situated on the back of the large bench for guests to refill their glasses while out on the deck, without having to come into the kitchen.
